Provide direct support to enable product growth, including opportunity targeting, marketing, and sales support. Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities at large healthcare IDNS systems for assigned product programs; collaborate with sales to negotiate and close deals.
Deliver best pricing on assigned programs through knowledge of contract and non-contract pricing. Manage a bid, large quote, or RFP to quote distribution business. Negotiate pricing with vendors for local contracts.
Lead the development of comprehensive marketing plans and promotional programs for existing products to include product strategy development, pricing strategy, collateral creation and brand management.
Analyze sales trends over time and impact of competitive strategies. Support forecasts and budgets with appropriately detailed marketing plans. Use data to optimize product conversions and drive value with key partners.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to the Medline sales team, internal stakeholders and sales leadership. Deliver proposals and pitches to current and prospective customers in collaboration with the sales team.
Review monthly financial performance and determine contributing factors. Offer solutions for detrimental sales or cost trends.
Lead collaboration efforts with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, vendor relations, and operations, to drive business development initiatives and launch new product programs.
Able to train and present to others on the company’s people and capabilities to leverage Medline’s unique value proposition to customers
This is a high-level individual contributor role but can have management responsibilities leading day-to-day activities and outcomes of a group of employees (between 1-2). May be involved in hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Education
Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience
At least 5 years of business development, product management, sales or clinical practice experience (preferably in the healthcare industry).
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office Suite Word (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) to create presentations, generate reports and analyze complex data.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor activities. Able to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
Strong negotiation and closing skills; can demonstrate a track record of successful deal closures.
Willing to travel up to 30% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$101,000.00 - $152,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
