Utility TechnicianAre you someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and working with your hands? Join our team as a Utility Technician and help maintain the water, wastewater, drainage systems, facilities, and grounds that support our community.
What You'll Do - Perform maintenance and repairs on water, wastewater, and drainage facilities.
- Complete routine inspections and assist with repairs.
- Maintain grounds through landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, weed control, and general lawn care.
- Perform facility maintenance, including painting, pressure washing, cleaning, and minor building repairs.
- Assist with excavation, shoveling, and site cleanup.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
- Support emergency response activities as needed.
What We're Looking For - High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment, including jackhammers and concrete saws.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and around water and wastewater facilities.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements - Frequently lift 50-80 pounds.
- Walk, climb, bend, and work in physically demanding environments.
- Access confined spaces and use ladders when needed.
