Advanced Electrical Engineer

Job Description

As an Electronics Solutions – R&O Data Analytics Project Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a central role in driving technical repair data analytical‑enabled decision‑making, operational excellence, and cross‑functional project execution across our ES R&O site globally in all three regions, APAC, EMEA and US operations. This position blends hands‑on data engineering, analytics, prepare the data templates & packages for analytical problem‑solving, and structured project scoping to support both Manufacturing and the PMO.

You will work closely with Operations, the BI team (Tools), Global IT, and advanced analytics groups to provide inputs for building dashboards, analyze performance trends, execute capacity assessments, and develop data pipelines that improve throughput, reduce turnaround time (TAT), and enhance visibility across the business.

You will report to GROE ES Product Line Director and work closely with the local site leadership & engineering team, work location can be Clearwater or Olathe or Phoenix Locations (Deer Valley or Sky Harbor) locations onsite all working days.

The ideal candidate has strong technical abilities in engineering performance data analytics and enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle, Tableau), enjoys identifying opportunities and solutions to solve complex operational problems, and thrives in a highly collaborative environment. This role is well‑suited for individuals with electrical design, manufacturing, industrial engineering, systems engineering, or project engineering backgrounds who are also passionate about data, automation, and analytics.


Responsibilities
• Perform TAT analysis, yield analysis, repair metrics, and capacity assessments and collaborate with Tool and IT teams to develop required Tableau dashboard.
• Develop interactive visualizations to track shift performance, identify bottlenecks, and support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data from SAP, Oracle, Aero CMS, and other enterprise systems – Technical R&O operations data like repair History and Parts consumption.
• Support PMO and internal stakeholders with repair work scoping, landscape analyses across sites, capacity modeling & tools, and operational assessments.
• Build and maintain data sets for test capacity analysis, product‑to‑tester mapping, and process mapping for production flows.
• Develop standard reporting packages (MMT, PMT, Level 3 Repair Dashboard, ORI/ESI usage, reuse/repair rates).
• Conduct deep‑dive data analysis including low‑volume part consolidation, GATE 2 shortages analysis, insourcing opportunities, and licensing opportunity assessments.
• Partner with BI and global IT teams to improve data structures, reporting capabilities, and automation of recurring analytics.
• Interface with the AI/ML team to support agent development, data sourcing, and feature engineering.
• Support identification of GATE 1, 2, and 3 TAT reduction opportunities through analytical insights and process understanding.
• Build standard work‑scoping methods across sites, ensuring consistent data definitions and methodologies.
• Act as a focal point between Operations, Engineering, BI, and IT to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely data delivery.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree in one of these disciplines – Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Project Engineering, or another related technical field.
• Experience working with enterprise data systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience with Tableau or other BI/visualization tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, interpret data, and translate insights into operational actions.
• Experience working in production, manufacturing, or operations environments.
• Ability to collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including Operations, PMO, IT, and Engineering.
• Background and experience in electronics and electrical system.
