Senior ISC Operations Manager (Weekend Operations Leader)

Job Description

As a Senior ISC Operations Manager at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving operational excellence across our end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is designed for a traditional, people-focused Operations Leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment and is equally passionate about capacity optimization, lean transformation, and site-level project execution.

You will be responsible for leading weekend operations supporting approximately 100–150 associates, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution while maintaining strong continuity with weekday leadership teams. In addition to day-to-day operational leadership, you will actively drive continuous improvement initiatives, support capacity planning, and lead cross-functional projects that strengthen site performance and resilience.

Reporting directly to site leadership, this role is based on-site in Minneapolis, MN and requires a flexible schedule to support weekend operations, including effective handoffs before and after weekend shifts. You will serve as the primary escalation point during weekend operations for both internal teams and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee weekend operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution across all shifts supporting 100–150 associates.
  • Provide strong people leadership, including coaching, performance management, engagement, and development of front-line leaders and associates.
  • Ensure effective handoffs with weekday operations leadership, maintaining continuity of goals, priorities, and performance.
  • Serve as the escalation point of contact for on-site associates and external stakeholders during weekend operations.
  • Oversee and integrate procurement, production, inventory management, and distribution activities to support site objectives.
  • Drive capacity planning and throughput improvements to meet customer demand and business commitments.
  • Lead and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including waste elimination, standard work, and productivity enhancements.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute site-level projects that improve cost, quality, delivery, safety, and morale.
  • Forecast demand, analyze operational data, and make data-driven recommendations aligned with business goals.
  • Partner closely with production, logistics, quality, engineering, finance, and supply planning teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Establish, track, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
  • Prepare and present operational performance updates to site and senior leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and improvement plans.
  • Support risk mitigation efforts and help integrate new technologies, processes, or systems that enhance operational resilience.


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 6 or more years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or operations management with a strong focus on execution and optimization.
  • Ability to lead and oversee weekend operations.
  • Proven experience leading direct and/or indirect teams in a front-line operations environment.
  • Experience managing complex operations, including production, inventory, distribution, or logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using ERP systems and operational data to drive decisions.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.
  • Ability to lead independently during off-shift or weekend operations and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status

The annual base salary range for this position is $136,800 - $171,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
