The Psychology Assistant will support the development and execution of studies focused on neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases. This position will support scientific aims of the inaugural Division of Brain and Cognitive Health Technology, which conducts cutting-edge research on the development, validation, and dissemination of technologies and methodologies for cognitive monitoring, neuropsychological assessment, and risk prediction in neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders.
The Psychology Assistant will report to Division Director Laura Germine, who is the creator of the TestMyBrain digital research platform and a PI of the newly funded Open Measurement Network Initiative for AD/ADRD (NIA U24) and Trajectories of Risk and Cognitive Change in Mental Health (NIMH U01).
2. Conducts participant interviews using standardized techniques to ensure accurate data collection;
3. Review, and audit data for accuracy; follow up with participants as needed to resolve discrepancies;
4. Works with statistical team to perform analyses;
5. Conducts literature reviews to support research activities and manuscript development;
6. Manages research databases using Excel, and other statistical or data management programs;
7. Organizes and prepares grant-related documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions. May write reports to present at meeting;
8. Demonstrates willingness to learn phlebotomy techniques necessary to fulfill project needs;
9. Perform other related duties as assigned; and,
10.May require off-campus site visits.
11. Proficiently perform job functions in both English and Spanish or Albanian based on department need;
