Assoc Microbiologist

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, responsible for performing microbiological analysis on raw materials, finished goods, and stability samples as assigned.

Job Description

  • Perform non-routine assignments to conduct analysis on product/material samples.

  • Use laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data.

  • Recognizes malfunctions in laboratory equipment and notifies management.

  • Follow all procedures related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related science.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in QC and/or R&D microbiology laboratory.

  • Experience with testing antimicrobial products/materials.

  • Proficient in LIMS.

  • Knowledge of R&D and/or QC Microbiology compendial test methods.

  • Able to determine if a gap analysis is necessary.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$58,000.00 - $87,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
