Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for the planning and execution of a wide range of education events for Straumann Group North America and will be expected to create and drive cross-functional teams across departments to effectively meet or exceed expectations regarding content, theme, messaging, communications, logistics, staffing, and budget. This role is fast paced and requires a collaborative, agile and curious mindset. This position will report into the Sr Education Manager.
This position is hybrid with 3 days in our Andover, MA corporate office.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Strong Event Management & Execution
• Lead end-to-end event planning for assigned sales regions, and supporting logistics of large-scale national events as needed.
• Oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiation, AV setup, food & beverage arrangements, and speaker coordination and event budgets.
• Maintain compliance with Continuing Education (CE) accreditation standards (AGD, ADA, etc.).
• Ensure programs align with organizational goals by working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Education teams.
• Manage vendor and faculty relationships, ensuring top-tier speaker engagement and program quality.
Post-Event Analysis & Follow-Up
• Conduct comprehensive post-event evaluations to assess attendee experience, ROI, and program effectiveness.
• Track event performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, budget reconciliation, and revenue recognition.
• Develop and present detailed reports on event success, key insights, and recommendations for improvement.
• Utilize CRM and event management platforms (SAP, Cvent, and MS Office) to maintain accurate event records and attendee data.
Leadership & Team Collaboration
• Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on event execution and best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Senior Leadership to align event strategies with company goals.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
• Proactively identify efficiency improvements and best practices in event planning and logistics.
• Take ownership of special projects as assigned by the Manager or Director.
Physical Attributes:
• May sit for extended periods of time.
• Utilize dexterity abilities to perform typing, operate a computer and other office equipment, to perform filing, and related job responsibilities and attention to detail competence.
• Moderate lifting (30 lbs and under)
Work Environment:
• General office environment.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 4+ years of event planning or event sales experience, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel overnight and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred.
• Strong event management expertise, including taking ownership of logistics, budgeting, and marketing strategies.
• Analytical mindset with experience in post-event reporting, ROI measurement, and performance tracking.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to be agile and adapt and customer service mindset.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with all levels of management.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Cvent.
• Basic understanding of LEAN Office Management principles.
Salary: $65,650 - $80,000Annually. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
