Laboratory Research Technician Biological Sciences - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (26002912) The Kaplan Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh seeks a candidate for projects focused on understanding mechanisms of human disease using mammalian cell line models. Specifically, the candidate should have experience in mammalian cell line work and molecular biological techniques. The projects will focus on creating cell models for human disease alleles using CRISPR/Cas9 editing and genomic/deep sequencing analysis of model alleles, including the establishment of a Multiplexed Assay of Variant Effects.
