Job Description
The University of Kentucky Bluegrass Care Clinic (BCC) provides HIV care and supportive services to over 1800 people living with HIV in Central and Eastern Kentucky. The Pharmacy Senior Technician will serve as part of the BCC multidisciplinary team to provide medical care to Kentuckians living with HIV. Will work directly with the BCC HIV clinical Pharmacist to ensure patient access to medications. Will be responsible for completing medication prior authorizations, coordinating medication refills, and assisting the clinical pharmacist with the BCC medication adherence program. Will play a critical role in the injectable HIV medication program by completing patient reminder, missed dose phone calls, and ensuring continued insurance coverage of injectables.
