Role Overview

• As part of our apprentice program, you’ll receive paid, hands-on training, learning the trade from experienced professionals. Once you’re ready to work in the field, our skilled team members will guide you every step of the way, helping you gain real-world experience while building a foundation for a long-term career in HVAC. What You Bring
• You bring strong communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical documents and explain concepts clearly to customers and team members.
• You have solid mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, and the ability to interpret bar graphs.
• Your excellent problem-solving and reasoning abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot issues, make sound decisions, helps to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• You are comfortable using computers and technology, including data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
• Physical stamina and adaptability, able to lift and maneuver heavy equipment, work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, and safely climb ladders or scaffolding.
• You have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn from experienced journeymen while growing your skills in the heating, air and ventilation trade.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist lead HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Attend and actively participate in apprenticeship classes, achieving passing grades in both classroom and hands-on training assessments.
• Learn and apply proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures on job sites.
• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork, piping, and related components, supporting setup, wiring, and testing of HVAC units.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance under guidance, including electrical, refrigerant, and airflow systems.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and vehicles while adhering to company quality and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers, providing professional, friendly service.
• Participate in ongoing hands-on training to build technical knowledge and grow toward becoming a licensed HVAC technician.
• Work closely with experienced technicians to gain practical field experience, develop technical skills, and contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality job performance.
