As an Electronic Technician - Level 3here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems and components. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability in our aerospace products, contributing directly to the success of our cutting-edge technology solutions.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of electronic system operations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. Your hands-on skills and technical knowledge will be essential in troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing electronic equipment that supports aerospace applications.
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform detailed electronic assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of complex aerospace electronic systems and components.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure accurate and efficient execution of tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- Proven experience of 5+ years in electronic assembly, testing, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and diagnostic tools to effectively identify and resolve issues.
- Proficiency with soldering, wiring, and calibration of electronic equipment, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
- Experience working with technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
WE VALUE- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in aerospace or defense industries with familiarity in electronic system manufacturing and testing.
- Knowledge of IPC standards and safety regulations applicable to electronic assembly and testing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in executing technical tasks.
