Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroregeneration at UConn

Postdoctoral Research Fellow positions are available in the Neuroregeneration Lab https://health.uconn.edu/neuroregeneration-lab, directed by Dr. Trakhtenberg, at the Department of Neuroscience, UConn School of Medicine.  We integrate cutting edge molecular, biochemical, genetic, bioinformatic, and translational approaches in tackling the fundamental problem of the failure of regeneration in the CNS after injury.  We are seeking candidates experienced in working with mouse and/or rat CNS systems.  PhD, MD, or MD/PhD candidates with a background in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
 
CNS histology and confocal microscopy 
CNS injury rodent models and/or behavioral assays 
Gene and/or peptide therapy in the CNS
Molecular Biology 
 
Starting salary:  $63,480 (NIH Scale) + Benefits. Positions are available starting on November 1st and applications will be considered on an ongoing basis until filled.
