Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary:
Role:
The Graduate Assistant will provide essential support to the department through a combination of research coordination and administrative responsibilities.

Key duties include:
  • Coordinating and proctoring the department’s make-up examinations for undergraduate students.
  • Assisting in the administration of the General Psychology Research Requirement, including communicating with students to guide them through the process of meeting their research requirements and maintaining completion records.
  • Supporting the department chair and administrative staff with a variety of tasks, such as organizing departmental events and facilitating day-to-day operations.
  • Performing ad-hoc research tasks to support various faculty-led research projects.


Requirements:
Graduate student in the Psychology M.S. program who does not hold a Full Graduate Assistantship. Work-study eligibility preferred but open to all psychology graduate students.
