Join our team as a High Behavioral Residential Coordinator and take on a leadership role in our Supported Living program, where you'll make a significant impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position requires strong leadership and decision-making skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. You'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential site, managing a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the residence. *Schedule Availability:*

* Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

*Qualifications:*

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or two+ years of Health Care Management experience.
* Minimum of two years of experience in direct support management.
* DD Waiver Experience a must.
* Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage a large team in a fast-paced environment.
* Responsible, mature, and flexible.
* Clear background check per 7.1.9 NMAC Caregivers Criminal History Screening Requirements.

*Position Overview:*

The High Behavioral Residential Coordinator is a salaried supervisory role, responsible for the comprehensive management of a Supported Living site. This includes the orientation, training, and supervision of residents and staff to ensure high-quality service. The role demands flexibility, with work hours determined by the Operations Director and the needs of the individuals in the home (32-40 hours/week).

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing DSPs and ensuring proper staffing, including finding coverage and working when coverage is unavailable.
* Being accessible 24/7 for on-call duties, unless alternate arrangements are approved.
* Collaborating with the BHI team to achieve program goals, including facilitating monthly staff meetings and participating in the interviewing process if desired.
* Maintaining all daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual paperwork.

*Communication and Collaboration:*

* Regularly communicate with treatment team members (PT, OT, BT, SLP) to meet requirements and prepare state reports.
* Ensure all appointments are met and documentation is submitted to the Bright Horizons administrative office.
* Attend relevant meetings at Bright Horizons and maintain open communication with all stakeholders.

*Compliance:*

* Ensure adherence to Bright Horizons policies, DOH regulations, and other relevant standards.
* Implement and monitor compliance with policies, addressing complaints and incident reports promptly.
* Work with the Director to develop and implement action plans as necessary.

*Achieving Valued Outcomes:*

* Promote socially valued roles for individuals, ensuring active participation in daily routines and independent living skills development.
* Facilitate interactions with community members in typical environments.
* Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to achieve socially valued roles for each individual.

*Fostering and Facilitating Choice-Making:*

* Respect and facilitate individuals' choices in all aspects of their lives.
* Develop communication methods for those with difficulties expressing their needs and preferences.
* Ensure team members understand and support individuals' choices, fostering community integration and ensuring accessibility and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
