Support the Senior Associate Athletics Director, in the day-to-day oversight of the Athletics Compliance Office. The director will assist in all aspects of administering the NCAA Compliance program for a Division I Athletics Department with 24 varsity programs and will be the primary liaison for assigned sports.
Must perform all duties within University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

| Duties and Responsibilities: | Assist in the oversight of compliance operations for assigned sports. - Process all NCAA waivers and violations
- Work with Director of Compliance/Financial Aid to issue National Letter of Intent and Grant-in-Aid scholarship letters.
Conduct initial eligibility evaluations on all recruited prospective student-athletes to ensure adherence to NCAA standards.Oversee all aspects of recruiting.- Monitor and approve official and unofficial visits.
- Oversee approval process for camps and clinics.
- Coordinate the usage of recruiting software (ARMS).
- Produce, send and ensure receipt of notification of transfer requests.
- Monitor and approve prospective student-athlete ticket requests.
Prepare, organize, and administer a comprehensive NCAA rules education program for athletics staff, student-athletes, boosters/alumni and staff outside of athletics.Provide NCAA and Big East rules interpretations for coaches, student-athletes, athletic department staff, constituency groups, boosters, and the Villanova community.Review and approve all activities involving student-athletes and promotional activities, employment, and other requests.Review and monitor Athletic Development, Athletic Communication and Marketing activities to ensure consistent compliance.Assist in Name, Image, Likeness activities, including rules education and monitoring and collaborate with third party in post-House execution. Serve as the Athletics Compliance Office lead for all sports in the areas of NCAA Bylaws 16 (Awards, Benefits, and Expenses) & 17 (Playing & Practice Seasons).
Oversee the onboarding process for coaches and staff. Lead for Teamworks/C&R/Influencer education for athletics department staff.
Serve as the Athletics Compliance Office liaison to assigned campus units.
Perform other duties, as assigned by VP/Director of Athletics or Associate AD for Compliance.

| Minimum Qualifications: | Formal Education - Bachelors Degree required.
Minimum Work Experience - 3+ years of experience in sports administration, specifically in compliance.
Work Skills
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform accurate, detailed work under time pressures. Strong interpersonal communication skills combined with the ability to interact with diverse groups.
Specific Job Knowledge - Working knowledge of the collegiate basketball landscape as it relates to NCAA/Conference/Institutional bylaws and regulations.

- Proficiency with personal computer applications and comfortable with various computer programs (Microsoft Office, Excel, LSDBi, ARMS, Teamworks).

| Salary Posting Information: | This position falls within salaried grade 14 and the range is $58,300-72,900. The final salary will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate’s qualifications, department budget availability, market data, and internal equity. |
