Production Operator I

ROLE PURPOSE: Operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively for production processing.

MAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for operating production lines to ensure quality and accuracy of finished goods, safety, and capacity.
  • Clean and operate equipment according to SOP.
  • Assist mechanics as needed to make machine improvements and replace parts.
  • Maintain a good understanding of all primary packaging equipment and components and partake in daily rotations on the production lines.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented mind set, and the willingness to learn are required.
  • Ability to strictly adhere to New Chapter and OSHA safety requirements.
  • Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  • Proven manufacturing capabilities are preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that demands accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of and experience in working within cGMP environment is preferred.

 

ADA SPECIFICATIONS: Position requires lifting and/or carrying up to 40 pounds. Requires standing for 8 or more hours.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CREDENTIALS:

  • High school education or GED is preferred.
  • Some manufacturing experience preferred.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm

The target pay for this role is $19.00 per hour. The pay provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. New Chapter considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
