*Maintenance Technician*
Phoenix, AZ
*$28.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE)*
*1st & 2nd Shift Available | Shift Differential Where Applicable*
*Consumer Goods Manufacturer*
We’re recruiting for an experienced *Maintenance Technician* to join an established Consumer Goods Manufacturer in Phoenix, AZ.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing production business, maintaining high-speed automated equipment and supporting plant reliability through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
*What You'll Do*
* Maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults including motors and controls
* Replace bearings, motors and verify repairs on automated systems
* Maintain and troubleshoot mixers, ovens, high-speed automation and conveyor systems
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime
* Troubleshoot and resolve escalated equipment issues
* Carry out welding and fabrication work as required
* Support machinery installations, assembly and commissioning
* Read and interpret schematics, manuals and technical documentation
* Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently at all times
*What We're Looking For*
* 2+ years’ experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and safety documentation
* Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
* Comfortable working in a physically demanding role with PPE requirements
* Experience with lifts or powered industrial equipment is an advantage
