Job Description
*Maintenance Mechanic*
* *Rochelle, IL*
* *$30.00 - $38.00 per hour (DOE)*
* *2nd Shift*
* *Heavy Industrial Manufacturing*
We're recruiting for an experienced *Maintenance Mechanic* to join an established heavy industrial manufacturer in Rochelle, IL.
*What You'll Do*
* Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
* Build, repair and maintain industrial gearboxes
* Minimise equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting
* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Operate manual machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, drill presses and grinders
* Support parts identification and ordering when required
* Maintain maintenance records and support continuous improvement initiatives
*What We're Looking For*
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 3+ years' maintenance experience within manufacturing
* Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial machinery
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
* Must provide your own tools
