AWS/CES is hiring for a Industrial Electrician
Location: Warren, MI
Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: Up to $32.26/hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support manufacturing operations through maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of plant equipment and machinery. This role requires a strong technical background, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and electrical systems with minimal supervision.
Perform electrical wiring, installations, and upgrades using schematics and documentation.
Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Diagnose issues using electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
Assist with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic system troubleshooting.
Install conduit, wireways, panels, and power drops.
Build, label, and wire control panels and electrical boxes.
Update drawings/prints and recommend spare parts or system improvements.
Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize production needs.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.
Hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and PLC experience preferred.
Experience using electrical meters and diagnostic equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
