As an Assembly & Test Tech - Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex electronic and mechanical systems to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. Your role is vital in supporting production processes and delivering reliable products to our customers.
You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact product quality and manufacturing efficiency by accurately assembling components, performing detailed tests, and identifying any defects or issues early in the production cycle, thereby contributing to Honeywell’s commitment to excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform assembly of electronic and mechanical components according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
- Conduct functional and performance tests on assemblies to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues found during assembly and testing processes.
- Document test results and maintain accurate records for traceability and quality control.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve assembly and test procedures.
Responsibilities YOU MUST HAVE- Minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly and testing of electronic or mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, soldering, and use of test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues during assembly and testing phases.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
WE VALUE- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or related field.
- Experience in aerospace or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of automated test equipment and software tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
