The Operations Manager provides leadership and oversight for all field and project operations associated with Murray Logan Construction's heavy civil, marine, utility, and infrastructure construction projects. This position is responsible for ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the company's commitment to quality, client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The Operations Manager works closely with executive leadership, Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, equipment managers, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and permitting agencies to coordinate resources and successfully deliver complex construction projects throughout South Florida. Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in heavy civil, marine, utility, or infrastructure construction.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing construction operations, multiple project teams, and field personnel.
- Experience with public works, water management, utility, pump station, drainage, marine, or transportation-related projects preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Strong knowledge of heavy civil and infrastructure construction methods and practices.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, contract administration, and risk management.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA requirements and construction safety programs.
- Knowledge of permitting, environmental compliance, and public agency requirements.
- Ability to manage large equipment fleets and field resources effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, scheduling software, and construction management platforms.
- Valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

- Frequently use a computer, mobile devices, and standard office equipment.

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and direct sunlight.
- Must possess visual, hearing, and communication abilities necessary to monitor worksite conditions and interact effectively with employees, clients, and project stakeholders.
