The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Villanova University invites applicants for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Biochemistry to teach in our department, which offers ACS-certified B.S. degrees in chemistry, ASBMB-accredited B.S. degrees in biochemistry, and M.S. degrees in chemistry. | Duties and Responsibilities: | The successful candidate will contribute to the vibrant curriculum of the department at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, teaching up to 15 contact hours per year (12 in the first year), with courses in biochemistry and in additional area(s) of specialty. The candidate will establish and maintain an active and productive research program, integrate undergraduate and master’s students into research, actively seek extramural funding, and effectively participate in departmental/university and professional service. |
