*Journeyman Electrician - Industrial*
* Work in Wastewater and Water Treatment industry experience is preferred.
* Bend and install rigid conduit, pull and terminate wire, and install electrical panels and equipment.
* Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and equipment according to safety codes and project specifications.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Follow instructions and direction from the Electrical Foreman to complete tasks in line with project plans, codes, and company standards.
* Assist in organizing tools, materials, and equipment to support efficient daily operations on the job site.
* Interpret and work from blueprints and electrical schematics under supervision to carry out assigned duties.
* Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and all job site safety rules, including OSHA requirements.
* Contribute to the installation of electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, control panels, and specialized equipment.
* Collaborate with other trades and crew members to ensure coordinated progress across different phases of the project.
* Communicate any issues or delays to the Foreman and adjust work as needed to stay aligned with project timelines.
* Track work completed each day and report progress or concerns to the Foreman or lead electrician.
* Help identify and troubleshoot issues with electrical systems and carry out repairs or modifications as directed.
* Participate in safety meetings and help maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
* Learn on the job by observing and receiving guidance from senior electricians and the Foreman to develop technical skills.
* Support tool and material management by keeping track of inventory and ensuring proper use and care of equipment.
* Accurately record time worked and submit hours to the Foreman for approval.
Public Works projects compensation rates determined by location. (Prevailing Wage)

Experience:
* Industrial construction: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
* CA Electrician Certification (NOT ELECTRICAL TRAINEE) (Required)
