Position Summary Information
| Job Description Summary: | The College of Engineering is seeking two creative and motivated student leaders to collaborate with COE’s Communication & Marketing and Engineering Recruitment teams to develop engaging, year-round social media content. These students will play a key role in showcasing the Villanova Engineering experience through authentic storytelling, event coverage, and student-driven campaigns. Key Responsibilities - Create social media content highlighting College of Engineering events, programs, and student experiences.
- Capture and produce short-form video content (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok-style videos, stories).
- Conduct and feature student interviews, day-in-the-life content, and event coverage.
- Lead and participate in social media takeovers to provide authentic student perspectives.
- Identify and develop student-centered content based on social media trends.
- Work closely with the Communications team to ensure branding consistency and strategic messaging.
- Attend select campus events and outreach programs to gather content.
Qualifications - Current Villanova University student.
- Strong interest in social media, marketing, storytelling, or communications.
- Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Canva, Adobe Suite) preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand alignment.
Time Commitment - Approximately 10 hours per week (flexible based on schedule and event calendar).
