As an
Principal IT Program Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will own Early Career program end to end, from cohort design, candidate selection, onboarding, curriculum and program delivery, hub coordination, KPI metrics, to full-time placement under IT University Relations team.Being a key driver of our IT Early Career program, you will ensure participants build foundational technology and strategic leadership skills to meet our IT organization needs. Your ability to build relationships, manage program logistics, and translate data into outcomes will directly shape our early talent pipeline.
In this role, your impact will be measured by cohort success which includes Early Career hiring from various top tier universities, engagement, development and retention. There are several KPIs which will be monitored to review the success of the program such as EC retention, technology certification and conversion into full-time placements. You will coordinate directly with global IT program leads and hiring managers to ensure each Early Career cohort delivers real project outcomes and builds a career at Honeywell.
You’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities - Plan, prepare, and execute the Early Career cohort program — manage hiring, onboarding, training, work assignment tracking and all EC communications.
- Coordinate with global program track leads to develop technical curriculum, training plans, project assignments, and project progress tracking.
- Own Early Career related KPIs such as retention, certification and FTE conversion.
- Will be responsible to program manage ssEC program such as tracking of IT head count needs, scope, schedule, budget, risk and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Early Career program participants their soft skills development, manage logistics etc.
- Build and maintain the program dashboard and ROI story on a periodic basis.
- Partner with the University Partnerships Program Manager and Operations Project Manager to ensure seamless program execution across all program pillars.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- 8+ years of experience in IT program management, early career development/rotational programs, or related talent program delivery.
- Demonstrated experience running cohort-based or early career programs — managing logistics, participant experience, and measurable outcomes.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to align Early Career program goals to IT business priorities.
- Strong Program Management skill managing scope, budget, schedule, risk and stakeholders.
- Interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable working with early career professionals, hiring managers, and senior leaders simultaneously.
- Experience building or managing program dashboards, tracking KPIs, and presenting data-driven program outcomes to leadership.
WE VALUE- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working with globally distributed program participants or teams across multiple regions
- Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar.

- Familiarity with curriculum design, training delivery, or learning & development practices.
