Required License/Registration/Certification None Physical Requirements The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs; occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs; regularly sitting at a computer work station for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); and occasionally dealing with combative/violent people. Shift Days, Monday through Friday; 8:00am – 4:30pm. Job Summary The Transplant Services Coordinator is responsible coordinating patients’ appointments, testing, complex schedules, and the necessary records/documentation for the patients’ transplant evaluation process. This process will include multi-organ patients as well as single organ patients. The TSC communicates with the patient, transplant team members, and internal/external providers as needed. They may also assist with pre-certifications as needed. The Transplant Services Coordinator is a liaison and initial professional point of contact for providers and patients. Transplant Services Coordinator will establish and maintain positive relationships with clinicians, referring physicians, patients, and other customers by providing excellent customer service in a timely manner. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; and effective written and verbal communication skills.
