Millwright - Maintenance here at
Honeywell, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. Your expertise will help minimize downtime and support the continuous production flow by performing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks on mechanical systems.
You will report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and operational efficiency of manufacturing equipment, directly contributing to the quality and timeliness of product delivery. Your hands-on skills and proactive maintenance approach will be critical in sustaining production excellence and safety standards. You will Move and install complicated machine tools. Install complicated group counter and line shafts. Perform a wide variety of construction and repair work on equipment.
Shift: 1st Shift - 6:00am - 2:00pm
Responsibilities You will move and install complicated machine tools such as the following which require care in aligning and balancing:- Heavy presses precision machines
- Boring mills
- Planers
- Lathes
- and more
You will select or specify motors, shafts, pulleys and belts and install complicated group counter and line shafts.You will perform a wide variety of contruction and repair work on equipment such as:- Compressors
- Converyors
- Line shafts
- Parts bins
- and more
You will use care and judgement in planning, moving, rigging and handling equipment with minimum interference to production and diagnose trouble quickly to avoid shut-downs. Qualifications The annual base salary range for this position is $82,000 - $88,800. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
Potential for Shift Bonus and or Clean Room Bonus if applicable

YOU MUST HAVE - Extensive experience in mechanical maintenance and repair within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial machinery, and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, measuring instruments and mechanical testing instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals, prints, sketches, layouts, etc.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices related to industrial maintenance work.
- Must have knowledge of millwrighting methods and procedures equivalent to 48 months directly applicable education and/or experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Sustained physical effort moving and installing machine tools.
WORKING CONDITIONS - Exposed to varying degrees of dirt, dust, noise, etc. making job somewhat disagreeable.
