Assembler - Level 2

Job Description

As an Assembler - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling aerospace components and systems with precision and adherence to strict quality standards. Your role is vital in ensuring that parts are correctly built and integrated to meet the demanding requirements of aerospace manufacturing, contributing to the overall safety and performance of Honeywell's aerospace products.

You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of aerospace assemblies by applying your skills in mechanical assembly processes and quality assurance, supporting Honeywell’s commitment to excellence in aerospace technology.



Responsibilities
• Assemble aerospace components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments according to detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Perform inspections and tests on assembled parts to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, identifying and resolving any assembly issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and report any discrepancies or defects to supervisors for corrective action.

Qualifications
The annual base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $67,600. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
• Experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments, preferably within aerospace or high-precision industries.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments to assemble components accurately.
• Ability to interpret assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and follow detailed procedures to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and ability to identify assembly defects or issues.
