- Monday-Friday: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Saturday-Sunday: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Description of Role:The Controls Technician is primarily office-based, with occasional visits to the production floor and responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical/motor controls and PLC Logic to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
What are we looking for?Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- 3+ years' experience in electrical systems, controls and/or automation.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and motor control systems
- Able to accurately read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift/carry (10-50 lbs) and push/pull (50-300 lbs)
- Occasional bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
- If requested, able to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
- Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
- Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree, Bachelors degree or relevant certifications in a technical field
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Expert in electrical and controls systems
What will be my Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, troubleshooting, inspections, calibration, modifications and upgrades on electrical and controls equipment including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and motor control systems
- Support the installation and setup of new control systems and automation equipment
- Identify and resolve minor faults in control systems and recommend continuous improvements
- Maintaining inventory of tools, parts, and supplies needed for control system maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols when servicing control systems and electrical equipment
- Any ad hoc requests
