As a Production Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will supervise a team of RF/Microwave Assemblers focused on the production assembly of our advanced microwave subsystems for applications including missile front ends, radar receivers, wideband tuners and synthesized sources. The work of the team is hybrid assembly which includes substrate attach, automated device epoxy attach and wire bonding processes. Assemblers also program automated equipment, perform machine checks, collect SPC data and capture root causes of defects found in-process. They work closely with a team of process engineers on continuous improvement projects.
You will report directly to either SR ISC Production Supervisor or SR ISC Operations Manager, and you’ll work out of our San Jose, CA location on an On-site work schedule

Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversee and manage the day-to-day production operations within the assigned department
- Lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and production targets
- Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of products
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and implement best practices
- Conduct bi-annual performance reviews and maintain key performance indicators to track and improve team performance
- Assign capacity and resources to fulfill customer requirements and balance factory needs
- Develop and oversee production plans along with Planning and Program Management
- Utilize strong people skills to align team members toward common business and performance goals
- Provide daily resources for products requiring assembly and daily status of work orders to ensure schedules are met
- Assure that tools, procedures, trained personnel, and work instructions are in place
Qualifications Must Have: - Minimum 4 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, including some supervising either assemblers or technicians, preferably in defense
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and a good knowledge of Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
