As a Senior Demand Planner here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing demand forecasting processes to support our manufacturing and supply chain operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring accurate demand plans that align with business objectives and customer requirements, driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
You will report directly to our leadership team and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the accuracy and reliability of demand forecasts, enabling effective production planning and inventory management. Your insights and collaboration with cross-functional teams will help optimize supply chain performance and contribute to Honeywell’s success in the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using advanced planning tools and data analysis.
- Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to align demand plans with business goals and customer needs.
- Conduct regular forecast reviews and adjust plans based on market trends, sales input, and inventory levels.
- Support the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process by providing timely and accurate demand data.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- Proven experience in demand planning or supply chain planning within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and forecasting.
- Knowledge of Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes and supply chain optimization techniques.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent platforms.
WE VALUE- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, preferably in aerospace or related industries.
- Experience with demand planning tools such as RapidResponse, SAP APO, or Forecast Pro.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Certification in supply chain management (APICS CPIM, CPSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Servigistics within an aftermarket environment is preferred
