Service Technician (Portable Sanitation)At Inframark, we keep communities running. We're looking for a dependable and customer-focused Service Technician to join our team. What You'll Do As a Service Technician, you'll manage your daily route while delivering top-quality service to our customers:
- Safely operate a service truck in accordance with Inframark and DOT standards
- Service and maintain portable sanitation equipment to company standards
- Load, unload, and maneuver equipment across job sites
- Interact with customers to ensure their service needs are met and expectations exceeded
- Adjust routes and schedules to meet customer demands
- Communicate route and service feedback to improve efficiency and service quality
- Follow all safety guidelines and participate in ongoing training
What You Bring We're looking for reliable, motivated individuals who take pride in their work:
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational training
- At least 1 year of relevant or hands-on work experience preferred
- Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred) with a good driving record
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow procedures
- A customer-first mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Work Environment This is an outdoor, active role. You should be comfortable working in:
- Changing weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity)
- Environments with noise, dust, odors, and equipment operation
- A physically demanding, fast-paced setting
Physical Requirements This role requires a high level of physical activity. You will:
- Lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs
- Frequently lift items between 30-40 lbs at various heights
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb throughout the day
- Perform repetitive movements and remain active for extended periods
Schedule Expectations - Flexibility to work non-standard hours and overtime as needed
- Ability to adjust to changing routes and customer priorities
