Assembly Mechanic – Level 2 here at
Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling complex aerospace components and systems with precision and adherence to quality standards. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the assembly processes meet production schedules and maintain the highest levels of safety and efficiency.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall production quality and efficiency by applying your mechanical assembly skills to support Honeywell’s aerospace manufacturing operations, contributing to the delivery of reliable and high-performance aerospace
Responsibilities - Assemble aerospace components and systems following detailed work instructions and blueprints.
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure assemblies meet required specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
Qualifications The annual base salary range for this position is $49,500 - $74,300. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE - Proven experience in mechanical assembly within an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Proficiency with hand tools and assembly equipment used in aerospace manufacturing.
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality control procedures relevant to assembly work.
WE VALUE - High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or related mechanical assembly roles.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
- Basic understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and standards.
