As a Shipping & Receiving Production Worker, Hourly here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations by performing essential production tasks to ensure the efficient and timely creation of high-quality products.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our South Bend, IN location on an On-site work schedule. M-F 0700 - 3:30pm EST. clock out for lunch 30 min
In this role, you will impact the overall production output by contributing to the assembly, inspection, and packaging of products, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
Training pay for 90 days $24.34, then after they are abled the wage is $24.84
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Load and unload trucks daily.
- Receive in material using SAP.
- Haul material to appropriate departments.
- Pick parts out of inventory to fulfill customer orders and to support our final assembly line.
- Put away stock following our procedures.
- Band and shrink wrap packaged, finished goods ready for shipment to customers.
- Unitize and pack smaller parts for shipment to customers.
- Ensure packages are ready for pick up on time.
- Complete SAP transactions as necessary.
- Update related paperwork/ work instructions upon completion of tasks.
- Demonstrate safe work habits.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- As a team member, demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems leading to continual process improvements and effectiveness of the team.
- Train in all areas of the department (receiving, linings, rotors, serialized, and overpack).

- Due to Federal regulations, candidate must be either a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident
- Math skills that demonstrate a basic understanding of arithmetic
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Basic mechanical background enabling understanding of how to modify packaging of materials as necessary
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
- Ability to become forklift certified
- Must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
