Job Summary
The Administrative Services Assistant (Financial Coordinator) provides transactional, record keeping, and operational support within the Centralized Business Office for Transportation Services, Gatton Student Center, University Events, Postal Services and other Auxiliary departments. Reporting to the Business Manager, this position maintains accurate financial records, executes purchasing transactions in accordance with University policies, and performs preliminary transaction accuracy checks for designated categories. The role emphasizes consistent use of established systems, processes, and documentation standards, supports fiscalyear record continuity and audit readiness, and provides crossfunctional departmental support to ensure continuity of operations. The Administrative Services Assistant (Financial Coordinator) works within defined procedures and delegated authority, escalating exceptions and nonstandard issues as appropriate.
