Position Summary
This is an onsite position located in Bethesda, MD.
NCC is seeking a highly organized and creative Producer to lead and coordinate multimedia productions, live events, and corporate video projects. This role requires a dynamic professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate across technical and creative teams, and deliver high-quality productions that meet client expectations and business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled problem-solver, and experienced production professional with expertise in live event coordination, video production, and client management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and manage production departments for live events, conferences, and corporate video productions.
- Coordinate onsite and virtual productions, including video conferences, media training sessions, and public relations support.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and present creative multimedia concepts and production solutions.
- Manage project timelines, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, including engineering, webcast teams, captioning services, satellite media tour teams, and production companies.
- Gather estimates, review bids, and oversee vendor relationships for production services and equipment.
- Plan and execute large-scale events while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Operate and oversee video production equipment including studio cameras, ENG cameras, lighting, tripods, pedestals, video switchers, and audio systems.
- Support video editing, captioning, ASL interpreting coordination, transcoding, and content delivery processes.
- Ensure proper asset management, storage, sequencing, and naming conventions for multimedia files.
- Troubleshoot production and technical issues in high-pressure environments.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients through phone calls, email correspondence, and in-person meetings.
- Utilize platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams to support virtual productions and conferencing needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (must be able to pass a criminal background check and credit check).
- Proven experience producing live events, conferences, and corporate video productions.
- Strong project management and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing in-house and off-site productions.
- Proficiency with Zoom, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with video webcasting and live streaming technologies.
- Working knowledge of video scheduling software such as ScheduALL or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of video editing workflows and multimedia production processes.
- Understanding of digital video formats, transcoding, delivery methods, sync, time code, standards, formats, and frame rates.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing budgets and production databases.
- Ability to multitask effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and creative teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Literature, Journalism, or a related creative discipline.
- Advanced videography and technical production experience.
- Experience coordinating captioning and ASL interpreting services.
- Knowledge of asset management best practices and media storage workflows.
- Experience supporting high-profile or large-scale multimedia events and productions.
- Strong understanding of broadcast, webcast, and corporate communications environments.
Compensation:
$70,000-$75,000
