Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct oversight of daily security operations and personnel across multiple locations and risk environments
- Leadership and development of direct reports, including goal setting, performance evaluations, workforce planning, and succession development
- Governance of physical security technologies (access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, visitor management) to ensure standardization, uptime, and lifecycle planning
- Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of SOPs, standards, and workflows
- Oversight of security vendor performance, contract compliance, and budget management
- Use of data analytics and reporting to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and inform strategic decision-making
- Alignment of security operations with evolving business risks, regulatory requirements, and enterprise resilience initiatives
- Cross-functional partnership with Facilities, HR, IT, Legal, Operations, and Business Leadership to support safe and secure business growth
- The ideal candidate combines operational leadership, people management expertise, and data-driven insight with strategic foresight. They are capable of scaling security programs to meet the company’s future-state technology roadmap and emerging risk landscape, while building a high-performing team culture grounded in accountability, service orientation, and continuous improvement.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in addition to the below experience requirements
Work Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing the below areas at an enterprise-level :
- Enterprise Physical Security Systems Expertise: Extensive experience administering and optimizing access control (badging, credential lifecycle, RBAC, mobile and biometric credentials), video management systems (deployment strategy, retention, health monitoring, investigations), intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, and visitor management platforms within integrated security ecosystems.
- Integrated & Scalable Security Architectures: Strong knowledge of unified security environments where access control, VMS, intrusion, and visitor systems operate together, including cloud-based and hybrid architectures, system migrations, and full lifecycle management.
- Enterprise Deployment & Standardization Leadership: Proven experience leading system upgrades, multi-site deployments, and enterprise-wide standardization initiatives across diverse environments such as corporate offices, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and call centers.
- Strategic Planning & Risk Alignment: Ability to develop security technology roadmaps aligned with business growth, operational needs, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Operational Intelligence & Performance Measurement: Hands-on experience leveraging system analytics, reporting dashboards, and data visualization tools to assess system effectiveness and operational performance.
- Governance, Cybersecurity & Vendor Management: Deep understanding of cybersecurity considerations for physical security systems (network segmentation, secure configurations, vulnerability management), regulatory and compliance requirements, and experience managing third-party integrators, monitoring centers, and technology vendors.

- Strategic Collaboration: Partners with business leaders and cross-functional teams to align security initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Change Management: Leads the adoption of new programs, policies, and technologies through strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Stakeholder Communication: Clearly translates security strategies and risks for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates risks while developing strategies that protect people, assets, and operations.
- Operational Integration: Ensures security programs and standards are effectively integrated into daily business operations.
Working Conditions:
- Travel up to 25–40% to support project execution and site reviews.
- Required availability during off-hours for incident or technology response.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$92,000.00 - $138,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
