| Job Summary | The University of Kentucky Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (UKVDL) develops and applies state-of-the-art diagnostic methodology to improve animal health and marketability, to protect the public health and to assist in the preservation of the human-animal bond through the principles of One Health. For additional information on the UKVDL, please click here. This position is a vital member of the team serving as a Receptionist in the Diagnostic Services Department. The Receptionist is responsible for monitoring cameras/providing entry into the administration wing; handling inquiries/requests for assistance from veterinarians and animal owners as well as providing backup for Administrative Office and general clerical support for the Business Office. This position is also responsible for printing/mailing diagnostic and report “mass mailings” and scanning/attaching/distributing EIA results via USA LIMS. This position is located at the Coldstream Research Campus off Newtown Pike (great location and free parking). As a part of the University of Kentucky, we also offer exceptional benefits.
