Technician - Test - Level 3-1st shift

Job Description

As a Test Technician Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting the Integrated Supply Chain by performing advanced testing and troubleshooting of aerospace components and systems. Your expertise will ensure the quality and reliability of products that meet Honeywell's high standards and customer expectations.

You will report directly to our Supply Chain Manager and you’ll work out of our Lansdale, PA location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain by ensuring that all tested components meet rigorous quality standards, thereby contributing to the overall success of Honeywell Aerospace's operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform complex testing and diagnostics on aerospace components and systems to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
  • Document test results accurately and report any deviations or failures to engineering and quality teams for resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and product quality within the supply chain.


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • At least five (5) years of experience in aerospace testing or a related technical field with a strong focus on test procedures and quality assurance.
  • In-depth knowledge of test equipment, diagnostic tools, and aerospace component specifications to accurately perform and interpret tests.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex systems and identifying root causes of failures to support corrective actions.
  • Experience with calibration and maintenance of test instruments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements applicable to aerospace supply chains.


WE VALUE
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience working within integrated supply chain environments in aerospace or high-technology industries.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic work environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in executing test procedures and documenting results.
