Starting Rate: Up to $31.00 an hour (based on experience) 8-hour shift.

Work Hours: Location: 3094 Lester Dr. Kendallville, IN
As our Maintenance Mechanic, Buildings and Grounds 1, you will: - Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, including:
- Motors, gearboxes, bearings, mechanical drives, VFD's, electrical components, and basic controls
- Learn and assist with facility systems, including: Chiller, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and general building maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
- Respond swiftly to maintenance requests from team members and management.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain clean, organized and safe maintenance area.
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to Lift and carry up to 50 pound
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, and twist throughout an 8 to 12 hours shift.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanics is a plus.
- Some experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
