WHO YOU ARE 

Our Maintenance Technician on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm) is a skilled position responsible to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems.

WHERE YOU WILL WORK  

Our woodmill is located in McClure, PA.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with daily start-up operations

Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment

Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction. Discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance technicians to diagnose problems or repair machines

Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery; change saw blades, dowler knives, and chipper knives

Learn to install and repair electrical apparatus; such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electrical components of machinery and equipment

Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment

Repair and maintain physical structure of buildings; fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions and other wooden structures

Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts

Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment

Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools

Work and communicate in a professional manner with all business associates

Must comply with all safety policies and procedures, including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Follow all policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.

Lock-Out/Tag-Out certification.

Pass and maintain current industrial forklift & man lift certifications.

Personal protective equipment.
