Sr Production Planner

Lead activities across the supply chain network to deploy the Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM) and facilitate the full adoption across your network. You will work out of our Torrancec,CA location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will oversee the monthly Production Planning process cycle for your network of sites and ensure finished goods production plans align with the site and network Supply Plans to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within the business goals. You will also ensure that the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules optimize the labor and machine resources while achieving the business goals for cost control, productivity, and working capital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the monthly Production Planning process cycle for your assigned product cells at the Tempe site
  • Ensure that the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules optimize labor and machine resources
  • Collaborate with functional teams to resolve demand, capacity constraints, and material availability issues, and support Planners in maintaining accurate planning parameters and material master data.
  • Participate in Weekly SIOP meetings to approve network production plans, present associated risks, and discuss mitigation plans with functional and business leadership.
  • Achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within business goals


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 7+ years of Production Planning, Operations Planning/Scheduling, Materials Management of other Operations Planning related functional area.
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment, defense and aerospace preferred
  • 5+ years planning experience in SAP ERP system
  • Due to export restrictions this position requires United States Citizenship or United States Lawful Permanent Resident status.

  • Experience in Planning, Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP MPS, Procurement Logistics, and Manufacturing
  • Experience in Kinaxis-RapidResponse (or Maestro) highly
  • APICS or CPIM Certification.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Lead and solve complex organizational problems.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in leading/driving change and mentoring new leaders or peers.
  • Expertise across professional disciplines within the material management function.
  • Mentor new leaders or peers.

COMPENSATION:

The Salary range for this position is $82K - $124K. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
