Reporting to the Athletics Broadcast Engineer, the Assistant Director of Broadcast Operations and Engineering will assist with the management, production and transmission of live sporting contests, studio shows and special events for Villanova Athletics. The Assistant Director of Broadcast Operations and Engineering will manage the daily technical and engineering operations of Villanova Athletics’ Broadcast and Video Production department, focusing on the operation around all linear networks, ESPN+ and in-venue videoboard shows across the department. They will assist with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations of all Villanova Athletics broadcast and audio systems. The Assistant Director of Broadcast Operations and Engineering will serve as the technical lead for event crews to successfully execute broadcast and video board productions. All duties must be performed in accordance with University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. **The anticipated start date for this position will be June 1 Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. | Salary Posting Information: | This position falls within salaried grade 14 and the range is $57,200-71,500. The final salary will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate’s qualifications, department budget availability, market data, and internal equity. |
