The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a
Production Planner (Supply Chain), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Create production and procurement schedules for area of responsibility.
- Develops and maintains operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand.
- Provides a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making and publish and present service and inventory metrics and results.
- Identifies and leads projects that improve supply chain speed and inventory investment. Review and reports on project progress with management.
- Works closely with the business to understand customer requirements and forecasts. Works closely with manufacturing to ensure alignment to business requirements by setting and maintaining sufficient inventory levels and lead times.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND two (2) years of combined experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND seven (7) years of combined experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) CPIM certification is preferred. If not complete at the time this position is assumed, the certification will become part of the employee professional development plan as agreed between management and the employee.
- Experience in Production Planning in SAP
- Strong data mining, data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills
