As a Director of Integrated Supply Chain Operations at Honeywell, you will lead end-to-end supply chain execution at our Minneapolis site, with a strong emphasis on project execution, Management Operating System (MOS) maturity, capacity expansion, and operational excellence. This role is a critical site leadership position responsible for translating business strategy into disciplined execution that enables growth through capital investment, lean operations, and increased manufacturing capacity.
You will have full accountability for procurement, production planning, manufacturing operations, logistics, and distribution, ensuring these functions operate as a tightly integrated system. In parallel, you will lead major cross-functional projects, embed a robust MOS, and partner with senior leadership to execute capital programs that expand operational capability and support future growth.
You will report directly into senior leadership and work on-site at our Minneapolis, MN facility.
In this role, you will significantly influence the site’s ability to scale, deliver, and perform. By strengthening operational discipline, driving lean transformation, and executing capacity-expanding capital projects, you will directly enable improved throughput, cost performance, delivery, and long-term business growth.
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide overall leadership and accountability for procurement, production planning, manufacturing operations, inventory management, logistics, and distribution at the site.
- Develop and execute integrated supply chain strategies that improve capacity, service levels, cost, and responsiveness.
- Ensure alignment between supply chain execution and business growth objectives.
- Lead the deployment, maturity, and continuous improvement of the site’s Management Operating System (MOS), ensuring disciplined operating rhythms, standard work, and performance transparency.
- Drive accountability through tiered reviews, KPI management, and structured problem-solving.
- Embed operational cadence that enables predictable execution and sustained performance improvement.
- Lead and sponsor cross-functional operational and supply chain projects, including footprint optimization, capacity expansion, and productivity improvements.
- Partner with engineering, finance, and site leadership to define, justify, and execute capital investment programs that increase throughput and enable long-term growth.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives.
- Champion lean manufacturing and supply chain principles, driving waste reduction, cycle time improvement, and flow optimization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and employee engagement.
- Identify and execute opportunities to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.
- Lead demand and supply planning processes, leveraging data and market insights to optimize capacity and inventory.
- Oversee strategic supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement performance to ensure cost-effective, reliable supply.
- Establish, track, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) across the integrated supply chain.
- Collaborate closely with finance, engineering, quality, and other functional leaders to ensure enterprise alignment.
- Prepare and present regular performance updates to senior leadership, highlighting results, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE- 8 or more years of progressive experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing operations, with clear accountability for integrated execution.
- Demonstrated experience leading leaders and influencing cross-functional organizations.
- Proven success implementing and sustaining a Management Operating System (MOS) or equivalent operational discipline.
- Experience supporting and executing capital projects focused on capacity expansion and operational growth.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience using ERP and related planning systems.
