Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law seeks a qualified individual to serve as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law during the 2026-2027 academic year as a Visitor. This position is a 10-month visiting position beginning on August 1, 2026.
The successful candidate will join a group of experienced and enthusiastic legal writing professors and be responsible for teaching either two sections of the required first-year Legal Research, Analysis, Writing, & Communication I and II courses or one section of the first-year course and one section of the required second-year course, according to curricular needs.

| Duties and Responsibilities: | - Teach in the required first-year and/or second-year Legal Research, Analysis, Writing, & Communication I and II courses.
- Advise and support students through formal and informal means.

| Minimum Qualifications: | Formal Education: - Juris Doctor is required.
- Strong academic record—including, for example, law journal or moot court service—is required.
Minimum Work Experience and Skills: - Several years of law practice experience is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

| Preferred Qualifications: | - Legal writing teaching experience is preferred.
