Maintenance Technician Needed!

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is a Part-time, primarily outdoor role responsible for helping maintain the grounds, buildings, equipment, and overall appearance of the property. This position supports daily community operations by completing general maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, and repair tasks in a safe, timely, and professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Groundskeeping and general property upkeep
  • Landscaping, weed abatement, and irrigation support
  • Digging, lifting, hauling, and other physical outdoor labor
  • Janitorial and trash removal duties
  • Basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
  • Basic electrical repairs and maintenance
  • General maintenance and repair tasks
  • Use of hand tools and basic power tools in a safe and effective manner
  • Assisting with vendor coordination and onsite access as needed
  • Responding to miscellaneous maintenance needs throughout the property
  • Helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional community environment
  • Following company safety practices, policies, and procedures at all times

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of maintenance experience or experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and general repair work
  • Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools and basic power tools
  • Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and complete work independently
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
  • Professional and respectful communication with residents, coworkers, and vendors

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and squat for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
  • Ability to work in a primarily outdoor environment

Additional Requirements

  • Must have reliable, registered transportation
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening, consistent with applicable law
