Position Summary:

The Sr. Financial Analyst – Revenue will lead financial modeling and analysis for the Revenue Recovery products in support of revenue-generating initiatives, pricing strategy, and go-to-market execution. This role partners closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to deliver proactive, value-added insights that drive top-line growth, optimize revenue performance, and improve forecast accuracy. Key to the success of this position will be ability to perform revenue and go-to-market financial analyses which will make sense of data from different sources and provide key insights and recommendations, obtaining the necessary data and information to ensure complete, timely and accurate analysis of financial information, and processes in a proactive and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as lead finance business partner for revenue-related initiatives, including ARR/estimated Annual Contract Value (eACV), pricing, bookings, retention, and revenue growth strategies
  • Collaborate with senior management and revenue owners in the development of operational metrics/revenue KPI’s, initiatives, ad hoc analysis, and reporting
  • Develop sound revenue models and/or business cases in partnership with business leaders
  • Assist with monthly rolling revenue forecasts, including variance and trend analysis
  • Effectively communicate/present results of analyses with recommended courses of actions
  • Collaborate across Finance and other business units; be a proactive business partner
  • Support and work directly with the Revenue Recovery leadership team in the analysis and monitoring of key revenue metrics and analytics
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities and risks to financial performance
  • Represent Finance in data transformation and standardization efforts
  • Demonstrate ethical responsibility, personal accountability, and responsibility for the integrity and reliability of data, modeling, and reporting
  • Lead and/or provide expertise to ad hoc projects and analysis as required; ROI modeling, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; a Master's degree and 3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Inquisitive, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a creative problem-solving approach
  • Ability to rapidly develop a strong understanding of internal data sources, including accessing, analyzing, and addressing specific questions with relevant data in an expedited manner
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with financial planning and reporting software for SaaS solutions (e.g., Anaplan, Power BI, Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to build effective professional relationships cross-departmentally
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects with strong follow through skills; capable of taking initiative in an ambiguous and changing environment
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Works well in independent or team environments; demonstrated team player with positive attitude

Preferred Experience

  • 5+ years in a Financial Planning & Analysis role with significant exposure to revenue, sales finance, pricing, and/or go-to-market analytics
  • Accounting experience
  • Experience with product pricing models and/or commissions planning

Location:

This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular in-office presence at our Minneapolis, MN or Toronto, ON location.

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.

The annual salary range for this role is $90,200–$120,000 USD in the United States and $100,000–$130,000 CAD in Canada . Final compensation will be determined based on the factors outlined above and may fall anywhere within the applicable range.
