Business Intelligence Consultant

About the Role:

The Business Strategy Consultant works to identify business opportunities and new customer relationships while collaborating on business strategies to improve sales and increase profit sharing.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze performance data and implement appropriate strategies to assess customer purchase potential, grow market share and meet/exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Find innovative ways to grow sales with existing customers and identify and implement opportunities for value added services.
  • Work closely with PCM's to improve sales strategies, including prospecting, targeting, customer conversion, consultative selling.
  • Conduct research and analysis of business opportunities in alignment with business strategy.
  • Build relationships in the community to understand the marketplace, increase market share and identify new markets.
  • Craft, communicate and facilitate Hajoca specific customer promotions in such a way as to inspire participation.
  • Act as a point of contact for vendors for programs, promotions and other initiatives.
  • Join industry associations to stay informed about market conditions, new technologies and trends.
  • Conduct all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures.


  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


About You:

  • 7+ years sales and service experience
  • Extensive knowledge of products sold at profit center preferred.

  • Be able to provide consultation and create positive, influential relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Be able to interpret financial report data to determine success/failure of plans and to take appropriate action to adjust business plans ensuring success.
  • Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used for business operations.
  • Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain customer and vendor contact files, appointments and to analyze performance data.
  • Possess and maintain up to date product knowledge related to the specific Profit Center market.
  • Be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
