Essential Functions
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to grow existing accounts and capture new business
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, lead qualification, cold calling, presentations, and closing
- Serve as a technical resource to customersunderstanding applications and recommending solutions
- Partner with internal technical and customer service teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
- Use CRM and sales tools to manage time, territory, projects, and opportunity pipeline
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships that drive repeat and referral business
Experience, Education and Skills
- Bachelors or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- IFPS Certified Fluid Power Specialist (or similar) strongly preferred
- 5+ years of technical sales experience, including 3+ years in hydraulic fluid power systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and write technical proposals
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic applications and troubleshooting
- Strong territory management, planning, and time-management skills
- Proven success in value-added, solution-based selling
- Comfortable using CRM tools to manage projects and opportunities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, and ability to learn and effectively us a CRM
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a competitive drive to exceed goals
- Valid drivers license, some travel is required
Experience with these products is a plus
- Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs)
- Pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, filtration
- Electrical controls, VFDs, motors, linear actuators and guides
- PLC control systems
- Pneumatic systems and air prep
- Component kits and repair solutions
